Finance Minister leaving for a three-day India visit

February 7 : Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is leaving for India today to prepare for prime minister KP Sharma Oli's proposed visit to the neighbouring country.

Minister Paudel said that his three-day visit to India was for making preparations for the premier's visit slated for 19th to 23rd of February. Paudel added that his visit would also focus on alleviating the recent bilateral tension between Nepal and India. The finance minister said that talks would be held with regard to the trade agreements likely to be forged between the two countries. Finance Secretary and Foreign Secretary too are accompanying Minister Paudel in his visit.
