 British Investors interested to invest in Nepal

March 17 :  Dipak Bohara, Minister of Labour and Employment has told the British investors that this is the best time to invest in Nepal and that the government is working to create environment to attract national and international investors. He said this at a programme organized by Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) on 16 March in which delegates from Britain-Nepal Chamber of Commerce (BNCC) were present.

Speaking in the program Bohara asked the British investors to invest in energy, physical infrastructures, tourism, agriculture, education and health sectors as Nepal’s products have market in India and China.
 
The British investors, currently in a visit to Nepal, say they are interested to invest in Nepal. On behalf of the British investors, Richard Pely however added, "It will be easy to invest if there is an investment friendly environment developed. We are here with an aim to identify areas of investment." 

Rajen Kandel, Chairman of Britain-Nepal Chamber of Commerce (BNCC) asked the Nepal government to ease visa system and create investment friendly environment. 

On the occasion, NCC President Rajesh Kaji Shrestha said that Nepali private sector will be excited to work with the British private sector in large scale projects in Nepal.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the joint private investment was signed between two parties in the same programme.
