Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has paid tribute to its former chairperson, industrialist and social worker Banwarilal Mittal who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 79. Mittal was ill for the last three months. 

Born in Watu Tole, Kathmandu in 1992 BS, Mittal had entered the NCC as its working committee member in 2029 B.S. He was its chairperson from 2046 to 2050 BS.

NCC has expressed deep condolence to the family of Late Mittal on his tragic death. Eminent industrialist Mittal is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters. His last rites were performed at the Pashupati Aryaghat.
