Binod Chaudhary urges investors to invest in Nepal

September 14: President of Chaudhary Group, Binod Chaudhary has urged international investors to invest in Nepal. Giving the example of few multinational corporations like Unilever, Standard Chartered and Dabur, Chaudhary said there was immense potential in Nepal for investors. Speaking at the the G-1 Global conference, organised by Global Universities, Japan, on the topic ‘Rising economies of Asia’, Chaudhary said Nepal was one of the most attractive investment destinations in the region.

Chaudhary said Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam were the rising economies with new investment opportunities. He said that increasing population, rise of youth with new perspectives, cheap labour and new corporate tax system were the key attractions of the region. 

Pun elected LP Industry Association 
The 20th annual general meeting and 7th general convention of Nepal LPG Gas Industry Association has again elected Shiva Prashad Ghimire as president. It has also elected 15 members to the working committee. The elected members are: Hari Prashad Pathak, Ram Chandra Sanghai, Kush Prashad Malli, Gokul Bhandari, Diwan Chanda, Krishna Bhakta Shrestha, Manoj Kumar Das, Shankar Shrestha, Aditya Parajuli, Navin Rijal, Raj kumar Sindhi, Dharma Raj Barteula, Narendra Kumar Shrestha and Syash Budathoki.
