Xiaomi 14 Featuring Leica Co-engineered Camera now in Nepal

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has introduced its flagship Xiaomi 14 smartphone in the Nepali market. The flagship comes with a triple 50 MP rear camera system co-engineered with Leica. The latest offering from Xiaomi is available in three Black, White and Jade Green colours. Likewise, the Xiaomi 14 is available in 12GB + 512GB variant and is priced at Rs 99,999. The new phone has features like a robust battery, IP68 rating for durability, in-screen fingerprint sensor and AI face. The smartphone comes with additional features like dual SIM support, 5G connectivity and a suite of sensors to ensure enhanced connectivity and usability, while Xiaomi HyperOS offers a smooth user experience. According to Xiaomi, its latest flagship model offers a premium smartphone experience with powerful performance, an immersive display, a professional-grade camera system co-engineered with Leica and enhanced security features. “We are glad to bring this innovative technology to our Nepali customers who have given us immense support and love,” Manu Manaswi, Xiaomi Nepal's Country General Manager, said.

Xiaomi 14 sets a new standard in smartphone photography with its revolutionary Leica camera technology. Featuring the iconic Leica Summilux optical lens with a large ƒ/1.6 aperture, Xiaomi 14 delivers lighter, brighter and clearer photos, even in low-light environments. This co-engineered next-generation optical lens captures outstanding colour reproduction, contrast and resolution, unlocking a significant improvement in capture speeds. Likewise, the Leica 75mm floating telephoto lens, coupled with the Light Fusion 900 image sensor, offers a stunning 13.5EV high dynamic range and exceptional noise reduction, ensuring unparalleled detail in every shot, according to Xiaomi. This flagship smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 processor which features a cutting-edge 4nm power-efficient manufacturing process. According to the company, this advanced chipset incorporates a CPU configuration comprising 1x Prime core (X4-based) clocked at up to 3.3GHz, 3x Performance cores (A720-based) running at up to 3.2GHz, and 2x Efficiency cores (A520-based) reaching speeds of up to 2.3GHz. Coupled with the Qualcomm® Adreno™ 750 GPU, this setup ensures users seamless performance and efficient power management, enabling smooth multi-tasking and immersive gaming experiences, it added.

The smartphone boasts a 1.5K 6.36-inch AMOLED LTPO display with a resolution of 2670 x 1200 and a pixel density of 460 ppi. The LTPO technology integrated in the device with AdaptiveSync Pro allows dynamic refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, ensuring fluid animations, silky-smooth scrolling, and optimised power efficiency based on usage scenarios, according to the company. The smartphone display comes with features like Dolby Vision®, Pro HDR display, and a wide gamut of colours covering DCI-P3 which enables users to enjoy vibrant colours and stunning HDR content with exceptional clarity and detail.

Powered by a 4610mAh battery with 90W wired or 50W wireless charging support, the Xiaomi 14 ensures long-lasting endurance with its robust battery and rapid charging capabilities. The 4610mAh battery, managed by the Xiaomi Surge Battery Management system, provides ample power to keep users connected throughout the day. With the 90W HyperCharge technology, users can recharge their device to full capacity in just 31 minutes (Boost mode), according to the company. Furthermore, Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Priority Club, which provides exclusive benefits to users of the Xiaomi 14. Members of the Xiaomi Priority Club enjoy perks such as a six-month extended Warranty, one-time free screen replacement (within the first 6 months), phone repair with free labour cost (within the first 24 months), and prioritised customer support. This initiative aims to enhance the ownership experience and provide added value to Xiaomi customers, according to the company. The Xiaomi 14 went on sale across Nepal from March 31 is available at authorised Mi Stores & Xiaomi Authorised Retail outlets all over Nepal.
