Bank of Kathmandu Ltd has re-launched its mobile banking service ‘M- Paisa’ in association with Hello Paisa Network of Finaccess Pvt Ltd. ‘M-Paisa’ service can be availed by nationwide customers of Nepal Telecom with free registration from all BOK branches. Under this service, customers can transfer amounts, make payment on purchase of goods/services, check their account balance and receive mini statement of their last three transactions, recharge mobile PIN and pay telephone/mobile bills and also make payments for post paid mobile phone bills.  




Nepal Investment Bank Limited has opened its 42nd branch at Lakeside, Pokhara. The newly opened branch is the second in Pokhara adding to the existing bank branch in Chipledhunga. The Bank already has branches in western region of Nepal in Butwal, Bhairahawa, Palpa, Krishnagar, Damauli, and Walling. NIBL at present has over 500,000 customers, 68 ATM networks and one extension counter.  





Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) has opened a branch at Janakpur (Dhanusha district) in March 11. This is the 52nd branch of the bank. The branch was inaugurated by former irrigation minister, Raghubir Mahasseth. The bank has also installed an ATM device in its new branch.




Civil Bank Ltd has opened its 19th branch in Boudha on March 1. The newly opened branch will provide full range of banking services. The Bank also informed that it is going to open one more branch inside the valley at Gongabu Chowk in near future.




Citizen Bank International on March 12 opened its new branch in Hetauda. It is the 34th branch of the bank. On the occasion, the bank announced two new schemes on deposits-Hetauda Fixed Deposit and Hetauda Call Deposit.
