February 14 : The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has fileda corruption case at the Special Court against seven former and current Armed Police Force officials, including former Inspector General Basudev Oli.

Oli is the third Armed Police Force Inspector General to face embezzlement charge over supplies of deliveries to Armed Police Force units. Earlier, CIAA had indicted the suspended APF IG Kosh Raj Onta and former IG Shailendra Kumar Shrestha among others for the same. Like Onta and Shrestha, Oli has been accused of misappropriating millions of rupees from the state by producing fake bills. According to the anti-graft body, Oli and six others have collectively embezzled upto 11.45 million rupees.
