January 20: Everest Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Punjab National Bank (PNB) to facilitate Gorkhali soldiers serving in the Indian Army.

Everest Bank’s CEO Someshwar Seth and General Manager for Government Business Division of PNB Samir Bajpai signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations amid a function held at the head office of PNB in New Delhi on January 18.

Everest Bank said that the Indian Gorkha soldiers can avail free remittance service on opening twin accounts at Everest Bank and PNB through PNB branches.
