November 20: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the umbrella body of industry associations in India, is all set to organize an exhibition of construction equipment in Nepal later this week.

Issuing a statement, CII said that the ConMac 2018 exhibition will be organized at Sallaghari Open Ground, Bhaktapur from November 22 to 24. According to the organiser, more than 150 exhibitors will be participating at the three-day exhibition, to be hosted on a gross display area of 250,000 sq feet. The event is expected to attract over 10,000 business visitors from across the country.

“This kind of exhibition has emerged as an imperative platform to bring together leading global and domestic construction equipment players to demonstrate their world-class technological prowess and capabilities. With Nepal facing a large shortage of skilled manpower, this exhibition aims to assist and empower contractors by providing them with the latest in technology and capacity enhancement within the construction sector,” reads the statement.
