Khalti brings ‘Refer and Earn’ upto Rs 5000 Offer

January 25: Khalti Digital Wallet, a premium mobile payment service provider in Nepal, has announced loyalty points and ‘Refer and Earn’ scheme during the CAN Infotech 2018 thatkicked off at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu on Thursday, January 25.

Khalti said in a press statement that its users can invite their friends to transact using Khalti for which both the friends can earn upto Rs 40 each at a time. As part of this offer, one can earn upto Rs 5,000 by referring friends to use Khalti for the first time.

To participate in this offer, one needs to first login to Khalti and tap on the banner of ‘Refer and Earn’ from home screen. The users should then enter phone number of the person whom they want to refer and click on ‘Send’ or simply share the referral link using Whatsapp, Messenger or any other messaging app.

Both the referrer and referred friend’s Khalti wallet will be credited with Rs 20 when the referred person loads his Khalti amount for the first time, and with additional Rs 20 if the referred friend gets KYC verified within a week of referral.

Reward will be given to the referrers only if the person they referred signs up or completes a transaction within seven days of opening a wallet.

Meanwhile, the application developer informed that one lucky visitor to the CAN InfoTech 2018 will win a 20’’ Hisense LED TV every day. This offer will run for all six days of the event.

Khalti has also launched a special Khalti loyalty program offering ‘Khalti Points’ for its existing customers to add value to their spending on Khalti. Apart from giving regular cashbacks, Khalti users will also be given Khalti points which they can later use to redeem services with Khalti’s business partners.
