Bhatbhateni Super Market and Departmental Store Pvt Ltd opened its new outlet at Pokhara on July 14. Min Bahadur Gurung, Managing Director of Bhat Bhateni Supermarket and Department Store, inaugurated the new Pokhara outlet.

The opening ceremony was initiated with the slogan “Product of Pokhara, Product of Nepal.” It is the sixth chain of the store and the first outside the Kathmandu Valley. According to Gurung, around 50,000 customers attended the opening of the store including businesspersons, tourism entrepreneurs, Nepal army and police personalities and local people of Pokhara. He expressed his happiness as more number of people visited the store during the opening ceremony, which was double the amount he had expected.

The group has invested Rs 750 million in its Pokhara expansion drive. Gurung informed that the rates of the goods sold from Pokhara stores would be similar as that of the stores in Kathmandu. The new outlet at Pokhara features daily commodities, food items, vegetables, fruits, liquors, kitchenware, garments, electronic appliances, furniture, and decorative items, among others. “We will be bringing the finest quality products from all over the world and also provide world class service to our customers,” said Gurung.

Bhatbhateni will provide 10 percent discount on all products for one month at the Pokhara outlet.
