Since the GO Ford dealership launch on 31 October 2010, 1000 Ford vehicles have been sold in Nepal. In an environment where the vehicle market is really down, it is a great achievement for a brand that entered Nepal market just 19 months ago to hit this number.

The different models being sold in Nepal come from India and Thailand. They range from Hatchback to Pick-up. Ford Figo has already become the second most popular vehicle in its segment, racing ahead of older brands that have been in the market for much longer period of time. Following Ford’s worldwide “One Ford Campaign” and new slogan “Go Further”, world class models like All-New Fiesta have been launched in Nepal. There are further plans to launch newer models and internationally favorite models in a few months time. So far, Ford has been the only brand to take the initiative of transporting vehicles in a carrier from border to Kathmandu and not driven down.
