March 6: Chinese smartphone brand Huawei has bagged 15 awards at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Awards 2017. The company for its latest smartphones Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus received awards from global technology media titles for their attractive Leica dual-lens camera and portrait enhancements.
Issuing a press statement, Huawei informed that the tech portal Android Authority honoured the P10 with the ‘Best of MWC: Best Smartphone’ award for its dual-lens camera and dazzling blue color. Android Authority is a prominent mobile technology website having 23 million visitors a month. Similarly, T3, having 2.4 million monthly visitors awarded the new handset with ‘MWC 2017 Awards: Best Phone’ title for its Leica dual-lens and Super Charge technology. Similarly, having 10.2 million monthly visitors, HDBlog recognised Huawei P10 with ‘Hdblog Awards: Best Editor Choice’ award for its EMUI 5.1 software, fingerprint sensor and powerful Kirin 960 chipset. Meanwhile, Pocket-Lint with three million visitors a month awarded the handset with ‘Best of MWC 2017’ for its price, screen size and dual camera technology.
As per the statement, Phone Arena having 17.7 million monthly visitors honoured Huawei P10 with ‘Best New Phones and Devices’ for its dual camera, software, potrait mode, laser-cutting and finishing. Likewise, TechAdvisor with 14 million visitors identified the handset with ‘Top Pick’ award for portrait mode and the wide angle group shots for the front-facing camera.
Moreover, other media honoring Huawei smartphones include FoneArena, Trusted Reviews and Recombu with 7.9 million, 27 million and 4.6 million visitors per month respectively. The press statement reads that FoneArena awarded the smartphone ‘Editor’s Pick of MWC 2017’ being impressed with device’s color and camera. Trusted Reviews honoured both handsets with ‘Best Phones of MWC’ award for being a evolution of P9, Leica dual-lens, battery performance and resolution. Likewise, Recombu named the P10 Plus as ‘Best of MWC 2017’ for its 5.5 inch display, HD resolution, camera and processor.
