Operated with investment from Prabhu Cable Car and Tourism Limited, a subsidiary of Prabhu Group, Siddhartha Cable Car Limited—based in Butwal—has established its central office in Tinkune, Kathmandu.

The office has been set up to facilitate the company’s planned Initial Public Offering (IPO) issuance and to enhance its business operations and market visibility, the company said in a statement.

Since beginning operations on September 4, 2024, Siddhartha Cable Car has facilitated more than 275,000 domestic and international tourists.

Three new ventures are also being prepared under Siddhartha Cable Car Limited: Nuwakot Gadhi Tourism Company, Rishi Kaldewal Tourism Company, and Hillside Village Resort.

In addition, Prabhu Cable Car is developing two more cable car projects, according to the statement. The Ichchhakamana Devi Cable Car Project, with an estimated investment of Rs 3.5 billion, and the Badimalika Cable Car Project--a Rs 5 billion-project--in Bajura district.
