Prime Commercial Bank clinched the title of the Mahalakshmi Corporate Cricket League 2025 – Edition 4, a tournament organized to mark the 31st anniversary of Mahalakshmi Bikas Bank.
The four-day competition, held in Kathmandu from June 4 to 7, featured 24 teams representing banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, merchant banks, and microfinance organizations. Nabil Bank Limited finished as runner-up.
The award ceremony was held on Monday, June 9, in Kathmandu, where Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Bam Bahadur Mishra, and Mahalakshmi Bikas Bank Chairperson Rajesh Upadhyaya jointly handed over the trophy to the winners.
Individual honors included Amrit Chaulagai of Nabil Bank receiving the Best Fielder award, while his teammate Bijay Para Limbu was named Best Wicketkeeper. Anil Bartaula from NMB Bank was awarded Best Bowler. Suraj Timilsina of ICFC Finance stood out, earning both the Best Batsman and Player of the Tournament titles.
