The Dry Port Customs Office in Sirsiya, Birgunj, has achieved 61.34% of its annual revenue collection target in the first nine months of the current fiscal year.
Between mid-July 2024 and mid-April 2025, the office collected around Rs 36.84 billion in revenue, against its annual target of Rs 60.04 billion.
According to Yubaraj Bhattarai, the office’s Information Officer, revenue collection has been steadily increasing in recent months.
Monthly revenue figures since the start of the fiscal year are as follows: Rs 3.75 billion until mid-August, Rs 4.64 billion (mid-August to mid-September), Rs 4.36 billion (mid-September to mid-October), Rs 3.79 billion (mid-October to mid-November), Rs 3.22 billion (mid- November to mid-December), Rs 3.56 billion (mid-December to mid-January), Rs 4.29 billion (mid-January to mid-February), Rs 4.68 billion (mid-February to mid-March), and Rs 4.5 billion (mid-March to mid-April)
