The National Examination Board is preparing to publish the results of this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE) within a week.
Dr Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai, Controller of Examinations (Grade 10) at the Board’s Sanothimi-based Office of the Controller of Examinations, said they are working on full pace for releasing the results very soon.
“We have set a target to publish the results within the third week of Asar i.e first week of July,” said Dr. Bhattarai. “Our staff are working in double shifts to ensure we meet the deadline. We are currently entering and verifying the marks. If we complete the work on time and the technology functions smoothly, we may even release the results earlier—within a week. We are working round the clock to make that possible.”
Although the initial schedule aimed to publish the results by June 20, delays occurred due to a prolonged teachers' protest in Kathmandu. The agitating teachers were on the streets from April 2 to April 30 demanding various reforms, which disrupted result processing activities.
The SEE exams were held from March 20 to April 1, with approximately 510,000 students appearing for the exams across the country. -- RSS
