Popular Indian actress and dancer Nora Fatehi is set to visit Nepal for the first time to perform at a charity event aimed at supporting underprivileged children.
The event, titled 'Nora Fatehi Live in Nepal', will take place on May 17, according to Worldwide Films Network Pvt. Ltd., the organizer of the program. The charity show is being held in support of Human Respect Nepal, a social organization working to provide education to children deprived of learning opportunities.
Speaking at a press conference in Kathmandu on Thursday, Dev Magar, chairman of Human Respect Nepal, said, “We are organizing this program with the aim of promoting social work through entertainment.”
In a pre-recorded message, Fatehi expressed her excitement about visiting Nepal. “I am excited to come to Kathmandu. This will be my first visit. I urge everyone to make this social work program a success,” she said, also thanking fans for the love she has received from Nepal.
The event will be managed by Manu Media Pvt. Ltd. Fatehi is expected to perform some of her hit songs, including 'Dilbar Dilbar', 'Kusu Kusu', 'O Saki Saki', 'Nach Meri Rani', and 'Snake Dance'.
Nepali performers including singer Durgesh Thapa and dancers Teriya Magar and Samarpan Lama will also take the stage. Manish Karki, the program coordinator, informed that tickets for the event are available on the 'Khalti' app.
