August 30: Tele Talk, the authorised distributor of Gionee phones in Nepal, has launched Gionee S6 smartphone in the Nepali market. “This is the new version of selfie master lineup,” informs the company issuing a press statement.

Gionee S6 comes with 13 MP f/2.0 Sony IMX258 rear and 5 MP front facing cameras with LED flash and screen flash.  S6 with metallic unibody has 5.5 inch FHD water drop display protected by gorilla glass.  Powered by 1.3 GHz processor, the new Gionee smartphone has 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage and a fingerprint scanner. Running on Android 6.0.1 based Gionee UI Amigo 3.2 OS; the phone has pre-installed its own video editor. “The slip window feature of S6 allows users to run two apps in a single screen,” reads the statement.

Priced at Rs 25,999, S6 is available in mocha gold and latte gold colors.
