Viber, one of the world’s leading messaging apps announced the launch of local Public Chats in Nepal. “Viber Public Chats is a mobile platform that allows users to follow a wide range of celebrities, influencers and brands,” informs the company in a press statement. The chats include text, photos, audio, video, stickers, and web links along with other features. Similarly, the most popular chats are featured on the home screen of the Public Chats section of Viber where users can easily search to find out who is chatting and also can access a chat directly through its customized URL.

“With famous celebrities like Malvika Subba, Priyanka Karki, Richa Sharma, Nagma Shreshtha and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai already making a mark on the Viber Public Chats where their fans and followers can now get a sneak peek into the lives of their favorite celebrities,” reads the statement. Part of the Japanese e-commerce and internet company Rakuten Inc, Viber has more than 664 million unique users worldwide.
