January 2: Guna Airlines has started commercial flight between Kathmandu and Surkhet from Sunday, January 2.    
The company announced flights to additional destinations with the onset of New Year 2022. As of now, only Buddha Air has been operating flights along the Kathmandu-Surkhet route.    
The airline company confirmed that an 18-seater aircraft of Guna Airlines would begin its service from January 2. The air fare for Kathmandu-Surkhet flight has been reportedly fixed between Rs 8,545 to Rs 11,420.

Initially, the airlines will operate flights to Surkhet from Kathmandu at 8:00 am and the return flight at 9:50 am every day. The company added that the Kathmandu-Surkhet flights will be operated at 2:30 pm and the return flight at 3:50 pm effective from January 10.
