VNY Secretariat signs agreement with NRNA for Tourism Promotion

October 21: Visit Nepal Secretariat has signed an agreement with Non-Residential Nepali Association (NRNA) for promoting Visit Nepal Year 2020.

Suraj Vaidya, national coordinator for the Visit Nepal 2020 campaign and Kumar Panta, newly elected President of NRNA signed the agreement amid an event on Sunday, October 20.

The 17 points agreement signed between the two organizations mentions that every NRN residing abroad will start a campaign to send a foreign tourist each to Nepal.

Similarly, the association will also mobilize the necessary manpower to operate the 'Visit Nepal Year Promotion Room' at the Nepalese embassies and missions around the world.

Additionally, the association in coordination with the Secretariat will organize all of its seminars in Nepal and will launch 'Splendid Holiday in Nepal with Family and Friend' campaign.

The agreement also includes car and bicycle rallies around the world, inviting foreign based Nepali employers, business partners and others to visit Nepal during VNY.

Minister for Tourism Yogesh Bhattarai during the occasion informed that the agreement between VNY Secretariat and NRN is very crucial for making the tourism campaign successful.   VNY 2020 is only two months away and execution of the agreement will help the tourism campaign to succeed, the minister added.
