March 7: Startupsnepal.com is organising ‘Udhyami Seed Camp: Women Focused Edition’ from April 21 to April 25 with an aspiration to support innovative and impactful ideas of entrepreneurs. "For this edition, we are focusing on startups built around women co-founders and will be accepting teams of two to four founding members with at least one female co-founder which envisions increased participation and leadership roles of women in business," reads the press release issued by the company.
According to the statement, the five days programme aims to support the entrepreneurs focusing on themes including IT, agriculture, education, tourism, hospitality, health and some other potential aspects. The seed camp will help the entrepreneurs to develop their ideas, validate, refine and present them to the potential investors. The seed camp is being organised with an objective to help the startups to identify the market gaps and needs, analyse their product viability and business possibility, develop networking with people and help them build foundation of their ideas.
Simultaneously, the programme will include pitching sessions followed by business refinement in front of interested investors and also a follow-up session twice a month to keep track of and guide these entrepreneurs in the duration. Moreover, the selected idea phase startups will be given equal opportunities to work with experienced and well established entrepreneurs, coaches, investors and potential stakeholders from various industries, enabling them to be a part of a vibrant entrepreneurial community. The application deadline for the entrepreneurs to register themselves for the programme is until March 31, mentions the release.
