Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Supports Social Works

May 30: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has provided aid through various branches under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

On the occasion of the 2568th Buddha Jayanti and Lumbini Day 2081, the bank's Mahilwar (Lumbini) branch conducted a program distributing free water and sweets in Lumbini. The bank has been providing drinking water on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti for one and a half decades.

Similarly, the bank's Dhangadhi branch has donated Rs 150,000 to Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City's 'Mayor's Educational Improvement Fund.' This monetary assistance aims to help improve the educational quality of children from impoverished families through the fund established to assist children studying in community schools in rural areas.

The chief of the bank's Sudurpashchim Province, Sunil Kumar Nepal, handed over the check worth Rs 150,000 to the mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Gopal Hamal.

Additionally, the bank's Narayangadh branch donated Rs 300,000 to Galeshwar Ashram located in Devghatdham, Tanahun. This donation aims to aid in laying Nepali stone in the Siddheshwar Shiva Temple, constructed in the Nepali pagoda style by the ashram. Shambhu Prasad Parajuli, chief of the bank's Bagmati Province 'B,' handed over the check worth Rs 300,000 to Galeshwar Ashram.
