Share Market Transactions Suspended Today after Three Circuit Breaks

March 4: Share transactions in the secondary market has been suspended for today after three circuit breaks.

The shift in power of the ruling alliance was seen in the stock market on Monday (today).

The first circuit break occurred after the NEPSE index increased by 4 percent or 79 points within 3 minutes of the start of trading.

Twenty minutes later, the second circuit break took place after an increase of 1 percentage point, i.e. 98 points. Trading was suspended for 40 minutes after the second circuit break.

After the third circuit break in the market which opened at 12:04 PM, trading was suspended for today.

Overall, the NEPSE index increased by 6 percent or 117 points today. Along with this, the NEPSE index has rose to 2078 points.
