Rastriya Swatantra Party to Quit Government

February 5: The Rastriya Swatantra Party has decided to quit the government. A joint meeting of central committee members and lawmakers of the party held on Sunday decided to call back its ministers and state minister from the government, said Party Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane in a press meet after the meeting.

The meeting, however, decided not to withdraw its support provided to the incumbent government. The party has Dol Prasda Aryal as Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Sishir Khanal as Minister for Education, Science and Technology and Toshima Karki as State Minister of Health and Population Minister in the incumbent cabinet.
