December 3: The country's weather pattern is currently experiencing the westerly trough and low pressure system formed in the Arabian Sea. As a result, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at a few places in Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province today (December 3), according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.    
Likewise, the division has forecast chances of heavy snowfall at many places of the high mountainous region.    
The sky of the Kathmandu Valley is cloudy from early morning today and the minimum temperature of the valley has been recorded at 10 degrees Celsius.    
Likewise, the weather is expected to remain generally to mostly cloudy in Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province and Karnali Province and partly to generally cloudy in rest of the provinces tonight.

"Light rainfall is likely to occur at a few places in Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province and Karnali Province," the division said. -- RSS
