Government Secures 10 Million Doses of Vaccine for Children Under 18 Years

November 24: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel discussed the issue of vaccinating students above 12 years against COVID-19 with Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada on Tuesday, November 23.     
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Health and Population, Minister Poudel suggested that all students above 12 years of age should be vaccinated soon, as they have started attending schools physically. He stressed on the need for the children to be vaccinated against coronavirus at the school itself.    
On the occasion, Health Minister Khatiwada shared that 10 million doses of vaccine have been secured for children under 18 years of age in the country. A total of 30 million doses of vaccine are in the pipeline to arrive here, added Minister Khatiwada. -- RSS
