FNCCI to Hold Election in 3 Different Places in the Capital

October 21: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) is all set to hold its 54th Annual General Meeting at three different places in Kathmandu.

FNCCI has already announced its AGM for November 26-27 and the election for November 28.

According to the schedule unveiled by FNCCI on Wednesday, the election will be held simultaneously at its head office in Teku, the National Academy Hall in Kamaladi and Karki Banquet in Babarmahal.

FNCCI said in a statement that the election has been scheduled in three different places by adopting all safety measures prescribed by the government considering the risk of coronavirus.

FNCCI has appointed Upendra Keshari Neupane as its chief election officer and will be leading a team of three members of the election committee. Other members of the committee are Raman Kumar Karna and Lilamani Poudel.

According to FNCCI, registration of names of the candidates for the election has been opened from Wednesday (October 21). The first list of candidates will be published on November 19 while the final list will be made public on November 23.

The voting will begin at 8 am on November 28 and end at 4 pm.
