Disabled-friendly Hotel Satyam Starts Operation

May 8: A disabled-friendly hotel with an investment of Rs 100 million has started its operation in Kavre, Banepa.

The hotel named ‘Hotel Satyam’ provides wheelchairs to differently abled customers and the rooms and the bathrooms of the hotel are disabled-friendly. The hotel also provides health checkup service to the customers which include blood pressure check, among others.

The hotel has open kitchen and one has to pay Rs 1,500-Rs 3,000 for accommodation and food services for a day. Bhusan Shrestha, the owner of the hotel, is a medical doctor by profession. According to him, Hotel Satyam has been established keeping in mind that there is no well-facilitated hotel in the area to organize conferences and meetings. He this hotel would serve as an alternative venue of Dhulikhel to organise conferences as it is nearer to the capital.

The hotel is providing employment opportunities to 30 people of the area. The conference hall has a capacity to accommodate 150 people. As the hotel is near to Kathmandu, people can visit the hotel to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
