Mustang Elects Congress Candidate Amid RSP Wave Nationwide

Nepali Congress candidate Yogesh Gauchan Thakali has won the House of Representatives seat from Mustang, securing 3,307 votes. 

However, the country’s oldest party trails far behind the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) nationwide. 

While the RSP has already claimed victory in Kathmandu-1 and is leading in five dozen constituencies, Nepali Congress is ahead in fewer than ten.
