The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is operating free shuttle bus services on election day to facilitate the movement of domestic and international air travellers in the Kathmandu Valley.
According to the board, the service is aimed at passengers travelling to and from Tribhuvan International Airport, linking the airport with major tourist hotels and key locations across the Valley. The shuttle buses will operate until 7 p.m.
Under the first route, the buses run from Nepal Airlines Corporation, New Road, Kantipath, Thamel, Lainchaur, Hotel Malla, Nayabazar, Shankar Hotel, Radisson, Durbar Marg, Yak & Yeti, Nagpokhari and Gaushala to Dwarika’s Hotel before reaching the airport.
The second route operates from Maharajgunj Chowk, Narayanthan, Ramada Hotel in Dhumbarahi, Chabahil, Hyatt Regency in Boudha and Jorpati to the airport via Gaushala.
The third route connects Kupandole, Himalayan Hotel, Tripureshwor, Kalanki, Soaltee, Ekantakuna, Satdobato, Royal Tulip in Gwarko, Tinkune and New Baneshwor to the airport via the Everest Hotel.
