The Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) and the Tech Journos Forum (TJF) have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen knowledge exchange and improve information flow in support of Nepal’s technology sector.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, by NAS-IT President Gaurav Raj Pandey and TJF President Purna Bhakta Duwal.
Under the MoU, the two organisations will jointly run training programmes to build the capacity of journalists covering information and communication technology. NAS-IT will share expertise and organise awareness programmes for TJF members on software development, IT services, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain and related fields.
TJF will collaborate with NAS-IT, its member companies and technology experts to produce content on sectoral development, innovation, emerging trends and cybersecurity.
Both sides have also agreed to work together on workshops, seminars and national and international conferences.
The agreement includes a provision to undertake at least one joint research project related to the IT sector each year. Financial arrangements for programmes will be decided through mutual consent.
