Secretary Poudel Assumes Office as NIA Chair

Chandra Kala Poudel, Secretary at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, on Tuesday, January 27, assumed office as the Chairperson of the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA).

Earlier, Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal administered her the oath of office and secrecy.

The government had on Monday decided to entrust Secretary Poudel with the responsibilities of the NIA chairperson until further arrangements are made.
