The European Union has invited proposals from young entrepreneurs for a grant worth Rs 700,000, aimed at promoting sustainable packaging solutions.
The grant will be awarded to an environment-friendly packaging idea that can serve as an alternative to plastic bags. The initiative is being implemented under the GreenShift Nepal Project, run by Creasion Nepal with support from the EU.

Young entrepreneurs from Bagmati, Lumbini and Madhesh provinces are eligible to apply. The deadline for submitting proposals is January 15, 2026.
Programme Director of Creasion Nepal, Sujata Koirala, said the winner would receive not only financial support but also technical assistance. This will include support in market identification and access to potential investment sources to ensure long-term business sustainability.
