October 27: The newly appointed Ambassadors Prakash Subedi, Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Vienna, Jhabindra Aryal, Nepali Ambassador to Egypt and Rishi Ram Ghimire Ambassador to Russian representative along with Nepal Chamber of Commerce have stressed on cooperation between the government and private sector for the development of the country.
In the discussion program, organized at secretariat of NCC, Dr Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, President of NCC stressed on forwarding economic diplomacy aggressively. He said that NCC is ready to work with the government and stakeholders for the economical prosperity of the country.
Similarly, he requested the newly appointed Ambassadors to promote international trade fairs organized by NCC in foreign lands and also helps to increase Nepal's participation in international trade fair. He also requested them to give special attention on such fairs as these fairs, exhibition and exchange of trade representatives promotes trade, investment and tourism of the country.
President Shrestha stressed on establishment of national and international exhibition hall in order to promote Nepali products and need of active role from the Ambassadors to increase direct air connection.
The Ambassadors, in response, said that they will work as a bridge between the countries to promote trade export, foreign investment and tourism. Stating that the private sector plays an important role for economic prosperity, they urged NCC to initiate cooperation between the chambers of two countries.
