Partial Impact of Westerly Winds Brings Cloudy Skies Across Nepal

The partial impact of westerly winds has resulted in cloudy skies in most parts of the country today (Sunday), the Meteorological Forecasting Division said. Currently, the weather remains partly cloudy across all provinces in Nepal.

The division added that fog has formed in some areas of the Tarai in Koshi, Madhes, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while haze has been reported in the remaining Tarai regions and parts of the Kathmandu Valley.

Tonight, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hill areas of Koshi, Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Gandaki provinces, while most parts of the Terai are likely to experience clear skies.

There is also a chance of light rain and snowfall in a few mountainous areas of Gandaki Province. -- RSS
