The Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN), in collaboration with the International Mask Arts & Culture Organization (IMACO) of South Korea, opened an "International Mask Exhibition" on Friday, December 5, as part of the ongoing “Craft and Culture Festival 2025”.
One hundred handcrafted masks were showcased at the Patan Museum premises in Lalitpur. Sixty masks were from Nepal, and forty were from South Korea. South Korea’s Ambassador to Nepal Park Tae-Young and Lalitpur Deputy Mayor Manjali Shakya Bajracharya jointly inaugurated the exhibition.
The festival is a joint initiative of FHAN, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-16, and Patan Museum. It aims to highlight Nepali art, culture, and traditional handicrafts. Inaugurated on Wednesday, December 3, the festival runs until December 7 across Patan Durbar Square and the Patan Museum grounds.
According to organisers, the festival features around 21 canopy stalls and 10 table stalls. Entry is free. The festival is open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM.
