Ncell Launches 10-Day Celebration Campaign as App Surpasses 10 Million Downloads

The Ncell App has crossed 10 million downloads, making it one of Nepal’s most widely used digital service platforms. The company announced the milestone on Tuesday, December 2, and said the self-service mobile application has become a key digital gateway for its customers.

Ncell said the app has evolved into a one-stop solution for users who want to access services without dialling short codes or visiting physical outlets. The app allows customers to top up, buy packs, transfer balances, register complaints, activate or deactivate services, and access online and offline games.

To mark the achievement, the company has launched a 10-day celebration campaign. Under the offer, 10 customers each day will win 10 GB of all-time data, valid for 10 days. Customers will qualify if they download and log in to the app for the first time or purchase any pack through the app during the campaign period.

Stephen Rodriguez, Ncell’s Chief Digital Channels and Experience Officer, said the milestone underlined the growing role of the app in customers’ digital routines. “We are delighted that we now have more than 10 million customers into our Ncell App family. This reflects how the app has become a part of our customers’ daily digital habits,” he said. He added that the platform supports paperless service delivery and aligns with the government’s Digital Nepal vision. “This milestone is not just a number; it highlights the value we are creating for customers and our commitment to connecting customers digitally.”

According to the company, the app is designed for quick navigation and a personalised user experience. It enables customers to track usage, subscriptions, active packs, and create lists of favourite packs.

Ncell said the app has also become a convenient tool for Nepali migrant workers abroad. Users can recharge, buy packs, and continue using their Ncell SIMs while on roaming during short visits or long stays.

The Ncell App is available for download or update on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
