Nabil Bank Launches New Mastercard Debit Card with Premium Benefits

Nabil Bank has launched a new debit card under the Mastercard network, aimed at enhancing customer convenience and digital payment experiences. 

The launch event, held in Kathmandu, was attended by senior officials from both Nabil Bank and Mastercard.

Manoj Kumar Gyawali, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank, stated that the new debit card represents the bank’s commitment to providing world-class services to its customers. 

“Since its inception, Nabil Bank has been dedicated to offering international-standard banking services, and this new debit card is a continuation of that journey,” the statement released by the bank quoted Gyaali as saying.

During the product launch, Ravi Datla, Senior Vice President for Product and Solutions, South Asia, Mastercard, expressed his pleasure in strengthening the partnership with Nabil Bank through the launch of this new debit card, added the statement. He emphasized Mastercard’s commitment to providing customers with secure and convenient payment solutions.

The new debit card gives customers access to Mastercard’s global network and allows them to enjoy enhanced banking experiences in daily life, according to the bank. Cardholders will also enjoy premium benefits, including discounts at select restaurants, spas, fitness centers, and entertainment venues.

Nabil Bank is a key member of the Mastercard network and was the first bank in Nepal to issue Mastercard credit cards. The bank offered credit cards denominated in both Nepali Rupees and US Dollars. Customers can apply for the new debit card through any Nabil Bank branch or via the nBank app.
