Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) resumed flight operations late Saturday evening following a four-hour disruption caused by problem in the runway lighting system.

Flight operations were halted at 5:25 p.m. on November 8 after a malfunction was detected in the airfield lighting system, which ensures safe takeoffs and landings, especially during nighttime.

Airport officials confirmed that the issue has now been resolved, and operations are running normally.
