During a high-level meeting at Singha Durbar with ministers, secretaries, and heads of security agencies, Prime Minister Karki reviewed the progress of key government initiatives since taking office. Emphasizing fiscal discipline, she directed all ministries to rigorously implement the Ministry of Finance’s circular to ensure that public resources are used efficiently and deliver tangible benefits to citizens.

“Every rupee of public money must yield maximum impact and serve the people effectively,” she stated.

The Prime Minister stressed that ongoing reform initiatives should directly benefit citizens, strengthen public trust in government, and boost morale among civil servants and security personnel. She also called for stronger coordination between ministries and agencies, improvements in governance and service delivery, and the establishment of transparent, predictable personnel management systems.

PM Karki instructed ministries to take immediate action on the reconstruction and restoration of infrastructure damaged during the recent civil unrest, while ensuring alternative arrangements to maintain uninterrupted public services. She emphasized the responsibility of all government officials in fostering a corruption-free, accountable, and efficient administration.
