Sujit Kumar Shakya Appointed CEO of NIC Asia Bank

Sujit Kumar Shakya has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NIC Asia Bank.

In a notice to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the bank said its Board of Directors meeting on Monday, November 3, decided to appoint Shakya for a four-year term.

According to the agreement reached with Shakya, he will assume office within 30 days, the notice added.

Shakya had been serving as the Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Nabil Bank for the past five years.

The CEO position at NIC Asia had remained vacant following the resignation of Roshan Kumar Neupane, after which Santosh Kumar Rathi had been serving as acting CEO.
