Landslide at Phisling Halts Traffic on Mugling–Nagdhunga Route

A landslide that occurred around 1:45 p.m. today, October 4, at Phisling in Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-3, Chitwan, has blocked the Mugling–Nagdhunga section of the Prithvi Highway, disrupting traffic in both directions.

According to Rabindra Khanal, Superintendent of Police and Information Officer at the District Police Office, Chitwan, efforts are underway to clear the debris, though it may take at least three hours to fully reopen the road.

Traffic along the Narayangadh–Mugling section remains unaffected, authorities confirmed.

As rainfall continues in the area, the local administration has advised the public to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel until the situation improves.
