Golchha Group has handed over 20 Bajaj motorcycles to the Baggikhana Traffic Police Office to strengthen traffic management in the capital.
The ceremony was held Tuesday, September 23, at the Traffic Police Office, Ramshah Path, Baggikhana. The initiative is part of Golchha Group’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, recognising the challenges faced by the nation and the crucial role of traffic police in maintaining order and safety, the Group said in a statement.
“At this moment, it is not about what is happening in our businesses or in our homes. It is about whether the state itself endures. Without a strong state, no one can feel secure. For the nation to grow stronger, unity is essential. This period may feel like the pain of childbirth, but I believe this change will ultimately fulfill the aspirations and dreams of the new generation,” said Shekhar Golchha, Chairman and Managing Director of Golchha Group.
The handover follows damage to several buildings and motorcycles of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office during the Gen Z-led protests on September 8 and 9.
