NIC Asia Bank has accepted the resignation of its chief executive officer (CEO) Roshan Kumar Neupane with immediate effect.
The bank announced that its board of directors meeting on Thursday accepted Neupane’s resignation.
According to the bank’s information officer, Arjunraj Khaniya, Neupane stepped down citing health issues.
Neupane was first appointed CEO in November 2018, and his tenure was extended in November 2022 for a second four-year term. His current tenure still had more than a year left.
The board has appointed Santosh Kumar Rathi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, as the acting CEO, effective from Thursday, September 18.
