The death toll from the Generation Z-led protests has climbed to 30, while more than 1,000 individuals have sustained injuries, said the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) citing hospital reports.
Of the fatalities, eight were reported at the National Trauma Centre, six at Civil Service Hospital, five at Bheri Hospital, three each at Everest Hospital and Frontline Hospital, two each at Kathmandu Medical College and the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, and one at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
More than 700 injured individuals have already been discharged after treatment, the ministry said.
