Nebula Energy, the authorised partner for Gogoro scooters in Nepal, has launched a buyback guarantee for electric two-wheelers.

With this initiative, Gogoro becomes the first electric two-wheeler brand in Nepal to offer a guaranteed resale value—aiming to boost consumer confidence in adopting smart, sustainable mobility, Nebula Energy said in a statement.

The programme, effective from August 4, guarantees a buyback value of Rs 100,000, valid within five years or up to 40,000 kilometres—whichever is earlier.

“One of the key concerns for electric vehicle (EV) owners is battery degradation, which often leads to diminished resale value,” the company said. “Gogoro solves this challenge through its industry-leading battery swapping system.”

Unlike conventional EVs, Gogoro users do not own the batteries. Instead, they access a network of smart, maintained batteries, managed entirely by Gogoro. This model has enabled the company to offer a reliable buyback assurance.

“Gogoro is here to build the future of mobility in Nepal,” said Chiranjibi Shah, General Manager of Nebula Energy. “From the outset, our investments have reflected this. We began operations only after building a citywide network of 45 battery swapping stations.”
