September 21: Japanese TV maker Sony has launched new range of 4K HDR Android TV in the Nepali market. Nepa Hima Trade Link, the authorised distributor of Sony TV's in Nepal, unveiled the HDR lineup including X93D series, 4K HDR TV range and Internet and xtra PRO series under the full HD category.
"The new range of Sony 4K HDR Android TV has a burgeoning video standard that greatly expands the range of possible visual expression by reproducing higher brightness, higher contrast and more vibrant colours," the company said in the press statement. According to the company, Sony's new slim Backlight Drive technology with a new grid-array backlighting structure further allows X-tended Dynamic Range PRO technology to boost peak brightness and black levels more precisely and enhance contrast levels, while maintaining a slim form factor.
“The newly launched BRAVIA lineup will support the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow that will help the customers enjoy expandable storage space with USB drive allowing to download more applications on TV,” the statement added.
Sony is planning to unveil its new R3D series soon which is equipped with X-Protection PRO feature for safe reliable performance. The company also informed that the R326D model can be operated by power-bank as well in addition to car battery.
