NT Expands Microwave Radio Link across the Country

August 23: Nepal Telecom has connected all 75 districts of the country through its microwave radio link services. After connecting the microwave radio link in Humla district on Saturday (August 20), the service has reached all the districts of Nepal. Earlier, the company had provided microwave radio link to 72 districts of Nepal. Recently, it has extended the link to remaining districts namely, Humla, Mugu, Dolpa.

With the expansion of the microwave radio link, Nepal Telecom subscribers will be benefited by improved connectivity in landline, GSM, CDMA, ADSL and EVDO internet services.

 According to the Nepal Telecom, the company can expand its 3G and WiMAX services in the region through this microwave radio link.
